* Pricing is based on an intimate group of no more than 12. Prices will vary based on number of participants.
** We welcome novice riders, slower riders can ride alongside the caravan. Riders may choose to finish any segment by riding in our accompanying jeep. If you have a member of your party who would like to join the trip but is not a rider, RRI can make provisions for him/her to accompany us in a Camel Cart or an AC SUV Jeep.
October 27th through November 5th, 2025
Day 1 October 27th
Arrive in Delhi and spend the night at a beautiful boutique hotel, or similar.
Day 2 October 28th
Enjoy the morning at your leisure and the afternoon sightseeing on a guided tour of New Delhi. After an early
dinner we will depart for the train station where we will board the overnight train to Ladnu.
Day 3 October 29th
Early morning transfer from the Ladnu train station via coach to our tented encampment in Baghsara for breakfast
and an introduction to RRI. Our day begins with a visit to a school in Bhagsara to perform our educational
program where we will distribute educational materials and sporting equipment to young students. After lunch we
will distribute livestock to widows and 'below poverty level' individuals in the village of Baghsara. Late
afternoon easy casual ride to get to know our horses. We shall overnight in the dunes, in our tented camp in
Baghsara.
Day 4 October 30th
After a hearty breakfast, we will depart for Dugastaau on horseback. This ride will take us through a serene
desert landscape with rolling dunes. We will stop for lunch and a relaxing break in a shaded area before riding
to our campsite. Expect to see a wide array of wildlife such as chinkaras, black buck, and blue bulls. Overnight
at our tented encampment on the outskirts of Dugastaau.
Day 5 October 31st
Beginning with a morning visit to a school in Dugastaau to perform our paediatric program where we will
distribute educational materials and sporting equipment to young students. Enjoy the afternoon at your leisure
relaxing at camp. Overnight at our tented encampment on the outskirts of Dugaastau.
Day 6 November 1st
We will ride from Dugastaau to Pindhya. The trail will take us through a range of varied terrain from sandy
dunes dotted in thatched mud huts and farmed millet fields. We will have the opportunity to meet with the Rebari
tribes as they migrate their livestock north to cooler climates for the summer. Overnight at our tented
encampment on the outskirts of Pindhya
Day 7 November 2nd
We will start our day engaged in purposeful and meaningful work, conducting both our Gift of Sight and Dental
Care programs in the village of Pindya. We will also be screening eye patients in order to qualify them for free
eye surgeries. The camp will open from 10:00 a.m. and will close by 3:00 p.m., or until the last patients have
been screened and/or treated. Overnight at our tented encampment on the outskirts of Pindya
Day 8 November 3rd
Ride from Pindhya to our Degaana lunch point. Morning ride through breathtaking dune filled areas; we may see
several Chinkara gazelles and if we're lucky, also come across the Desert Fox. This beautiful region is home to
the Bishnoi tribe, who are known as conservationists as the preservation of animal and vegetable life is a
religion and has been so from the early 15th century. We will depart for the Pushkar fair by bus (approx. 1
hour) after lunch to enjoy the day experiencing all the fair has to offer. One highlight is the horse auction
and equestrian events held over two days before the full moon. The finest Marwari horses can be found parading
in races and dances in an effort to attract the highest bidder. The sacred village of Pushkar is home to India's
only Brahma Temple, and Pushkar Lake is one of the five most sacred pilgrimage destinations for Hindus in India.
No pilgrimage is said to be complete unless one takes a holy dip here. Overnight at Land's End Resort, Pushkar.
Day 9 November 4th
Early departure from Pushkar to Jaipur via AC coach 3 hours drive. Enjoy the late afternoon at your leisure
relaxing at Niravi Haveli pool or shopping in Jaipur. Overnight Niravi Haveli, Jaipur.
Day 10 November 5th
Check out by 12.00. Post lunch departure by coach to Delhi/transfer to airports for return flights.
End of program.

Travel Documents
To travel to India for tourism, business or studies you are required to have a valid passport and an entry visa. Visas are issued in Indian Embassies or Missions. E-Visas can now be granted upon arrival at certain airports in India.
A person applying for a visa must have a passport that will be valid for a minimum of six months beyond the date of the date of their intended departure from India. So make sure to renew your passport if it is due to expire within that period of time.
Tourist Visas
Entry visas for tourists are generally issued for six months from the date of issue. If you intend to visit neighboring countries and re-enter India, ask for a six months visa with a request for multiple entries.
